It has always been challenging to unite our family together under one roof for any length of time….then to get us all dressed and maybe even smiling for a picture…..now that’s a miracle. Since I’m already mentally gearing up for the holidays….making menus, thinking about placecards, seating, decorations and the like, I thought I’d show you some of our family photos through the years. Can we do it this year? It seems unlikely given all the schedules of all the children (some of whom are adults with real jobs who are just learning about PDO’s), but we do always long for the brief moments we’re all together. It’s funny how after gathering at the table with 10 people, a few days later when there’s only 6 or 7 of us, it can feel so lonesome and quiet.

Great post Edie!! I’ll stop lurking now. We loved Sunday lunch…check out Alice’s noodle eating technique.
Oh my dear Leigh Ann, so glad to see you finally emerge from your lurking status! We enjoyed Sunday too. We’re thankful for you guys.
What a beautiful family! Love the pictures!
Ok, I’ll guess…You both look very young and I would say 30’s but with the kids ages…hmmm….44?
I’m so glad you posted this! I feel like I know you better already.
I think we must have a good bit in common – I see some of my favorites listed in your profile “favorites.” I love books, too. 🙂
I’m so glad that you stopped and said hello this week – it’s very good to “meet” you!
Loving those family shots- you have got me inspired to get one of all of us- our most recent was from last July. No more excues.
Okay- I’ll guess 45-48 him and 37 you?
OMG Gina You win 45/37!
I can’t even imagine how much hard work it must be to feed your family, keep them safe, clean, happy… But I also can’t imagine how much hapiness can such a numerous family have… Of course not everything is sunny and bright but you guys are really lucky. You have a beautiful family 🙂
