12 Days Handmade Christmas Giveaway

My favorite project from last years’ 12 Days was Darby’s dishmat.
I’ve made one or twelve.

And despite the fact that my sewing machine is currently demon-possessed, I made one for you today.

All you have to do to be in the running to win it is help me spread the word about the upcoming 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Tutorials.

Just post the large button into a blog post….
or post the small button somewhere on your blog
and you may then leave a comment on this post telling me that you obeyed the instructions like a good little girl and I will enter you into the giveaway for the dishmat.

Handmade for you with love (and occasional curses).

Here’s the large button.

Here’s the code for large one (400×369)

And the wee one.

here’s the code for the small one (240×221)

Oh and if you don’t  have a blog, just friend me on Facebook and post a link to this post there.  Then you can enter the giveaway too.

Speaking of  Facebook, I decided to start a Facebook Fan Page.   It seemed like a fun thing to try.   An easier place to chat it up.   And a place to put all the things that don’t make it onto this here blog like links and recipes and cute boots and such.    So check it out, become a friend or ‘fan’ as they call it.  And let’s chat it up.

FYI, if my sewing machine gets ill right before the 12 Days, I will NOT be a happy crafter.

One more thing!

My friend Julie is giving away a free custom canvas to everyone who sends her a pic by tonight.  Hurry!

  4. I just asked my teenage daughter what I was doing wrong. She knew, and now it looks correct. Yay for teenagers. 🙂

  6. I added you as a friend on FB, liked your fan page, and posted a link to ur blog on MY fb page…whew, is that enough to enter??? 😉

  7. I don’t have a blog so I sent you a friend request on FB. Don’t have a clue how to post a link to your 12 Days on FB but maybe I can figure it out. Looking forward to all 12 days!

  8. I posted, but right now blogger isn’t uploading images, so the button doesn’t seem to be showing up. Hopefully once they come back online it will!

P.S. I didn’t get to stay for the concert, but totally heard the Avett Brothers rehearsing while at the fair today. Had to leave right before the concert started. 🙁 Thought of you and Amy.

  10. I added your button to my sidebar. Not sure if the link was buggy when I initially tried it but I ended up having to get the link from flickr for it to actually work. 🙂

Oh, and just wanted to let you know that I tried out your Chicken and Dumplings recipe tonight. Its been one I’d been thinking about trying for the last couple of weeks, and with tonight’s rainy fall weather, it was perfect. Thanks for sharing!

  14. I’m having image issues too… with blogger that is! But I’ve posted about your 12 days and posted a link on my side bar – fun! And I could really use that dishmat in my new home’s kitchen!

  15. I have obeyed like a good girl and put the link on my sidebar, but it isn’t currently working. I’m trying to fix it.

I am soooo looking forward to the 12 days again!

  16. I tried to add the link on my sidebar, but i’m too stupid to figure it out. Instead of working, I’ll figure out how to do that in the morning. In the meantime, on Facebook I friended, fanned, linked – not sure exactly what I did, but tried to do it all. I do know that FB link was successful. 🙂 Sooo looking forward to the 12 Days!

  20. Hi, Edie
I followed your party last year and I’m looking forward to see all the homemade goodies this year too. I posted about it on my blog but for some reason the button is not showing up. Do you know why that may be? Thanks.. Hope I win, I’ve been wanting to make one and hadnt gotten around to it.

  21. I posted about it, but the button is not working for me right now for some reason.
I can’t wait to see what ideas you’ve found this year!

  22. I’d love to have one of the dishtowels…lovely! Well, Edie ..tried adding the small button to my sidebar and it just won’t happen, I’ll try again tomorrow. 🙂

  23. Hey girl just wanted to let you know I posted a comment about your homemade christmas!!! Hope I win the dish mat!!!

  24. I have so much catching up to do in blogland. I still haven’t tried many of the tutorials from your last years 12 Days…just need some spare time. The camera straps, pillows, flower pins and dish mats have been on my list for a long time….must get to work!

  25. I posted your button on my sidebar, but it hasn’t been working. I’m just now getting a chance to sit down and see if I can get it up and running. Hopefully, I can figure it out. 🙂

  26. For those of you having trouble getting the pic to load… click on the picture to take you to Edie’s flickr photo. This, click Share This (above the photo) and get the html code from flickr. This is what I had to do for the image to show on blogger.
