Staying healthy is not just about eating right and exercising. It is also about managing your stress level. Stress can lead to many health problems including weight gain, anxiety, depression, heart disease and more. So how do you manage stress?
There are two main factors that contribute to your stress levels: external factors and internal factors. External factors include work-related stressors such as deadlines and conflict with coworkers; home-related stresses such as money issues or lack of time for yourself; and family-related stresses such as the death of a loved one or the birth of a child. Internal factors include personality type, personal history, coping skills, age, gender and genetics.
