I’m just a girl with a pretty good camera who takes a lot of pictures. Some of them make me laugh, some of them make me cry, but all of them make me remember. It’s my way to remember. I shoot with a Nikon d90 and 90% of the time with my 50mm 1.8 lens. I’m learning to shoot in manual mode and I fiddle with white balance and ISO frequently. I’d love to take a photography class but I think even then it takes a lot of practice: taking a lots of photos until you get the look you want. Lighting is everything and I always prefer shooting in natural light. Flashes remind me of overhead lights. I hate them. There are many bloggers who inspire me. I love looking at life through the eyes of Meg, Darby, Patty and others. There are also many true life photographers that I want to emulate like Ashley Ann and Jessica and Karen.
My children naturally do this when they see me coming.
